Description: The Oreos String Quartet are an experienced glamorous all female string quartet. They are based in and around London, and are available for weddings and functions. They can play a variety of styles from classical to jazz, show songs and pop. Individually they are freelance musicians playing for West End shows (Mary Poppins and Chicago) orchestras and opera company’s including Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, English National Opera, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, City of London Sinfonia and the Liverpool Philharmonic. They have provided the music for hundreds of functions, clients including Vivienne Westwood, News Group Newspapers, Direct Line, The Arts Council, Unicef, Orange and Make a Wish. They have provided strings for Katherine Jenkins, Kanye West, Tori Amos, Rod Stewart, Jamiroquai,, Aqualung, Il Divo, Hayley Westenra and Russell Watson to name but a few. TV appearances include Top of the Pops, Pop Idol ITV, Brit Awards, The National Lottery, Parkinson, Strictly Dance Fever, Des and Mel, TFI Friday and GMTV.

The Oreos String Quartet also perform many pop songs and jazz standards that are specially arranged. They are completely mobile and require no power supply, this makes them an ideal choice for a civil ceremony or a summer wedding or event, where guests may move outside for drinks and back inside for dinner.

The quartet have the flexibility not only to play classical music but also lighter, jazzier music during drinks and dinner. They can easily accompany an instrumental or vocal soloist

They do not take up much space and are ideal for smaller events, parties or wedding venues. They make ideal entertainment for an anniversary or a birthday party during the cocktail reception.
